Getting Started

Orient yourself in Fleetwise and complete your first request-to-allocation workflow.

Use this guide to get oriented in Fleetwise, understand the main screens, and complete a request-to-allocation workflow during your first week.

Before You Begin

  • Sign in to Fleetwise with your workspace credentials.
  • Confirm you can see the correct workspace and project in the header and sidebar.
  • Check your project role (Member, Fleet Coordinator, Management, or Owner) — this determines what you can access.

Key Areas to Learn First

Homepage

Your workspace-level landing page. See all the projects you have access to and jump into one to start working.

Project Dashboard

Once inside a project, the dashboard shows allocated vehicles, your requests, upcoming handovers, and other key metrics for that project.

Requests

Create and track vehicle requests by project and priority. Monitor status as requests move through review and allocation.

Schedule

Use the timeline view to verify demand against available vehicles and spot clashes early.

Allocator

Process larger request batches with recommendation support.

Submit a Request

Submit one request with clear essential and preferred requirements. See Creating a Request.

Review Status

Follow status changes and notifications through the full lifecycle. See Request Lifecycle.

Check the Schedule

Role-Based First Steps

  • Prioritise complete request details to improve match quality. - Track status changes and respond quickly to clarifications. - Use My Requests to monitor your own submissions.
  • Review incoming demand daily in the request list. - Validate recommendation fit before confirming allocations. - Use the Allocator for batch processing.
  • Use dashboards and history views to track bottlenecks and cycle time. - Monitor project-level metrics from the Project Dashboard.
  • Configure project settings, specs, and tags. - Manage project members and role assignments. - Oversee all requests, allocations, and reporting.
