How vehicle allocations work — assigning vehicles to requests across defined time windows.
An allocation is the confirmed assignment of a specific vehicle to a request for a defined time window. Allocations are created by fleet coordinators — either individually from a request detail view, or in bulk using the allocator tool.
What an Allocation Contains
Vehicle and Request
The assigned vehicle and the linked request it fulfils.
Time Window
Start and end dates for the allocation period.
Execution Status
Current state — draft, tentative, planned, active, or completed.
Updates
Cancellation, completion, or schedule changes over the allocation's life.
