How vehicle requests work in Fleetwise — from submission through allocation and completion.
A vehicle request is how you tell Fleetwise what vehicle you need, when you need it, and what specifications matter. Requests flow through a defined lifecycle from draft to completion, and the data you provide drives the allocation engine's recommendations.
What a Request Contains
Request Info
Priority level, your team, and an optional work package link for project context.
Dates & Location
A usage window (your availability), required duration in days, whether days must be consecutive, and the usage country / location.
Spec Codes & Attributes
Vehicle specifications and attribute tags, each marked Essential or Preferred to control matching.
Preferred Vehicles
Specific vehicles you would like, useful when you need a vehicle you have used before or one already set up for your test.
