Integrations
Connect Fleetwise with external tools to automate fleet operations and keep systems in sync.
Fleetwise is designed to be the single system of record for your validation fleet — including test planning, vehicle requests, allocations, scheduling, and mileage tracking. For most teams, managing everything directly in Fleetwise gives you the best experience and the most complete data.
However, some organisations have established workflows in external tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or custom test management systems that they want to keep. For these cases, Fleetwise supports integrations that allow external systems to trigger vehicle recommendations and receive status updates — so your team can continue working where they are while Fleetwise handles the physical fleet.

How Integrations Work
Fleetwise exposes an API layer that external systems can call to create requests, retrieve vehicle recommendations, and receive status updates. An optional AI reasoning layer can interpret and transform data from external formats into Fleetwise-compatible structures, so integrations work even when field names and conventions differ between systems.

Integration Capabilities
All integrations share a common set of capabilities:
| Capability | Description |
|---|---|
| Inbound triggers | External events (e.g. a new Jira issue) initiate actions in Fleetwise |
| Vehicle recommendations | Fleetwise matches vehicles based on requirements, specs, dates, and availability |
| Status sync | Allocation and request status changes are pushed back to the source system |
| AI transformation | An optional AI layer interprets unstructured or differently-formatted data into Fleetwise fields |
